By placing an order, booking a service, or using our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases and services provided by Rachel Shannon Art including custom commissions and live wedding paintings.

By placing an order or booking a service, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Custom Artwork Production Time

All paintings are made to order unless otherwise stated.

  • Standard production time is 4–6 weeks from the date work begins.

  • This timeframe does not include shipping time.

  • During busy periods, production times may vary slightly. Any significant delays will be communicated to the client.

3. Payments

Commissions (Custom Paintings)

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin all commission orders. This deposit secures your place in the artist’s schedule and covers initial materials and planning.

The remaining 50% balance is due prior to shipping. Artwork will not be shipped until full payment has been received.

Live Wedding Paintings

A 40% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date. This deposit confirms your booking and reserves the artist exclusively for your event.

The remaining 60% balance is due on the day of the wedding, prior to the start or completion of the live painting process. The finished artwork will not be released or shipped until full payment has been received in full.

4. Shipping

  • Once completed and fully paid for, artwork will be carefully packaged and shipped.

  • Shipping times vary depending on location and carrier.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or weather conditions.

  • Tracking information will be provided once the order has shipped.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

Because all artwork is custom-made:

  • All deposits are non-refundable.

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.

  • If a cancellation request is made within 24 hours of purchase and work has not started, a refund may be considered at our discretion.

  • No refunds will be issued once work has commenced.

6. Customer Requests & Artistic Interpretation

  • Clients may provide reference images, color preferences, and creative direction.

  • Each artwork is hand-painted and may include artistic interpretation.

  • Minor variations from reference materials are not considered defects.

7. Damaged or Lost Items

  • If your artwork arrives damaged, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos of the item and packaging.

  • We will review the issue and may offer a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the situation.

  • We are not responsible for items lost or delayed due to incorrect shipping information provided by the customer.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

  • All artwork created by Rachel Shannon Art remains the intellectual property of the artist unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We reserve the right to photograph and use completed works for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes.

9. Use of Website

You agree not to misuse, copy, or interfere with the operation of this website or its content.

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or products.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
