Rachel is an artist who believes in creating more than just a copy and paste of a photo. Her work infuses story, character, and old master technique to ensure your wedding won't be a portrait that could be captured in a photograph: it is a story retold through paint. If you want a painting that is cinematic, dramatic, and will elevate your home and wedding this is the perfect art option for you.

With an approach that marries impressionism and romantic realism, Rachel paints on-site at your wedding. Guests are invited to witness the creative process. The finished work is framed and will become a heirloom for generations.

Based out of the Philadelphia, PA area and happy to travel anywhere. Travel fees vary based on your location from Philadelphia.

The Process

  • Rachel will arrive 2 hours prior to your ceremony to paint the desired background​

  • Rachel will take a photograph of couple in desired pose to work from, but will also paint details from life​

  • Painting during the duration of the reception​

  • Interaction with guests​

  • Revealing the painting at end of the night to the couple

  • The painting will be returned to the studio for final touches and framing

  • Final painting will be shipped 4-6 weeks following the event
